The place is amazing! It looks even better in real life, when I arrived I felt like I was home. The huts are super cute and have very comfortable beds. Didn't wanna leave the pool side, it felt like being in paradise.The owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back.

Our stay at Blue Beach Eco‑Hotel by Sanfabini was truly memorable. This place is an authentic oasis, tucked inside a part of Bayahibe that still preserves its raw, rural, deeply local Dominican character. The surrounding area may feel a bit rough at first glance — not unsafe, just wonderfully unfiltered — and that turned out to be one of the biggest bonuses of our stay. We ended up immersing ourselves in real local life and flavors without even planning to, and it made the experience richer and more meaningful.
The hotel itself is ecological, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The architecture and layout feel perfectly adapted to the environment: natural airflow, thoughtful materials, and a style that blends seamlessly with the tropical surroundings. It’s not a conventional hotel — there’s no AC, and the experience is intentionally simple and eco‑friendly — but that’s exactly what makes it special. It’s ideal for curious, happy explorers who appreciate nature, authenticity, and new experiences. If you’re looking for a polished resort bubble, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for something real, warm, and unique, this is perfect.
The hosts were nothing short of amazing — warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality made us feel at home immediately. And we have to mention Lucas, the adorable puppy, who added an extra dose of joy to our stay.
Overall, Blue Beach Eco‑Hotel is a place we wholeheartedly recommend to travelers who want authenticity, nature, and a true Dominican experience. It’s beautiful, ecological, and filled with heart.

I absolutely loved this hotel.
It is simple, yet incredibly peaceful, comfortable, safe, and well maintained. It has everything you need for a quiet and relaxing stay. I also had the chance to meet the owners, who were exceptionally warm and friendly.
There is no air conditioning, but the provided fans make it easy to stay comfortable. Some of the huts include a small kitchen, and guests can also use the property’s shared kitchen.
The swimming pool is a wonderful addition and very welcome after a day out.
The included breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day.
A car or other form of transportation is recommended, as the property is located a bit away from the beach, supermarkets, and other stores.
Overall, a charming place to unwind and enjoy a restful getaway.

The accommodation is located in a quiet neighbourhood and is quite idyllic with the pool and palm trees and the use of natural material. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Some locals say it’s a dangerous area but I overall felt safe walking around and no one ever bothered me.
It’s 4 km away from Bayahibe and the closest beach but you can just walk to the main road and catch the next transport to town. It’s easy.
I had a problem with the shower that I felt electrified when I touched it but I let someone know and they hopefully fixed it.
The bungalows are right next to each other and they are not sound proof. It’s not noisy but if you want to listen to music it’s not possible without bothering someone else.
The bed sheet kept on coming off the mattress but that’s someone easy to fix.
Breakfast is quite simple but filling.
