Rental property is an awesome view, full kitchen is great, AC works immaculately. Comfortable bed, sound of waves in the evening is lovely. Property had nice beach chairs and towels for use, and even a couple quality snorkeling sets! (Would have loved this to be mentioned as we bought a couple upon arrival before checking in).
There is little to no privacy from other units. The neighbors were, of course, friendly - but don't plan on a quiet coffee in isolation. Also, the unit it shares a wall with is under construction and the noise is loud throughout the day from
drills, hammers, etc. We weren't home much so didn't notice it until the last couple of days, but were surprised by how there was no warning of construction at all when booking the unit after the drills started going. Very loud. I'm sure in a few months whenever that unit is done it'll be good again, but for now do not plan on having peace if you come home for lunch. The construction crew also parked in the unit's (1) allotted parking spot.
Not a knock, but something to be prepared for is that the view of the ocean may also be obstructed by a large, 500lb wooden wall if the surf report is high - this one can't be helped, but there is no light let through that wall which covers the entire patio door and will make the unit feel cramped. The property maintenance will also blow leaves around (seemingly aimlessly) at 7:30-8am right under the windows, if you have any intention of a quiet breakfast.
We did not plan on an early check-in, but did ask if we could be notified if the unit would/wouldn't be ready for an early check-in, unfortunately we were never notified so took our time before showing up.
