This is a lovely house to stay in. It's cosy, homely and well placed for a walk along the street to the shops or down to the beach. Its clean, well stocked and a lovely little welcome basket is provided. A real home from home. Weve rented it twice and Im certain we will rent it again.
Host Gillian is very responsive and friendly.
We love everything about it. There is nothing to not like.

Had a great stay in Thain House, location was great for places we wanted to visit, was well equipped, parking was okay but on a few days had to park further a field and being disabled driver was sometimes hard getting to house. Would definitely recommend to family and friends, was great value for the price thanks Gill 😀
Only thing I would say as we were a family with different ages and sexes maybe two of the rooms could have single beds, but I knew that went booking,

This is a large 3 bedroomed well loved family home with all the facilities you need including a very well equipped kitchen. It was warm and the heating controls are available to adapt to individual needs. The owner was available by phone if needed and there was always street parking nearby in the quiet road.
Unfortunately cleanliness in a couple of areas let it down. Some of the glassware, pans and crockery needed to be washed before use. The bathroom including the toilet could have been cleaner, and there are patches of black mould on the ceiling.
