I was the first Traveler to Mi Peru, and I’m sure I won’t be the last: there are numerous, generously sized rooms with a private bathroom , table and reading lamp, awaiting for those interested in exploring this booming fishing town. But I must say that the workflow and protocols have not been solved by the host: he didn't check the online reservations or his phone messages. And since the listing online has no physical address, arriving to the hotel is not elegant. The owner has put a lot of work in getting this business up off the ground, but having a clearer idea of who his customers were, might direct his time and resource is more efficiently. For example, he clearly invested in these large 48 inch television monitors. This would be absolutely crucial in the year 2005. But in 2025 my sense is the more important thing is Internet connectivity, which was lacking. Is there Internet? Yes, is the Internet at a reasonable speed? No. I clocked the Internet at between five and 10 MB downloading and five and 10 MB uploading. This results in pages loading slowly and an inability to host video conferences, which is crucial for staying connected with your friends, family and coworkers while you’re traveling. There’s a lot to love about this hosts rooms: the bed is new, the mattress is new, everything is quite clean. The host himself, is very nice and very generous, but not attentive enough to incoming reservations and arriving travelers. The price is also very attractive, and if the Internet were faster than 20 MB per second, ideally around 100 MB per second, I would’ve stayed my entire trip in Nuevo Chimbote. I expect that, if or when this business is running, the host will have a better workflow and this will be a better experience. I really like the area, although, at the time I stayed, you had to cross the main road to get a cafe or store. But it's clear that in the future--perhaps two or three years--this part of town will be a little more modern than...

Host was getting used to running a business. Location address was not correct at the time of booking. Eventually, the crisis was resolved, but it was a bit stressful. Internet could be faster (40 mb/s at least)

Une bonne adresse à Chimbote au vu du rapport qualité/prix et des tarifs pratiqués par la concurrence. Le bâtiment est situé dans un passage au calme. On y accède via un escalier extérieur en colimaçon très escarpé. Le quartier est agréable avec plein de commerces et est relativement proche du front de mer (200m). Tout est très propre, le wifi est excellent, le couchage confortable et l'accès sécurisé. Une bonne étape pour passer une nuit bien que la ville ne présente peu d'intérêt.

La location est assez loin du terminal de bus car la ville s'étend sur deux districts. La chambre ne dispose pas de fenêtre et la salle de bains est à l'extérieur (au même étage). L'accueil est impersonnel.

La amabilidad de Luis y su familia por brindarnos todas las comodidades para estar seguros y disfrutar de lo mejor que tiene Chimbote. Luis siempre está atento a ayudarte con cualquier detalle, recomendación e incluso los lugares que puedes visitar. También nos recomendó una cochera algo cercana para mayor tranquilidad del vehículo en el horario nocturno.
