I came to stay at hotel but I found a home. Every single detail in the place feels like it, the house is taken care of with love. The room, the living room, the kitchen with the dining are in the rooftop. The rooftop is awesome by the way, the mountsins could be seen from there. I enjoyed kind presence of the owners-couple, they're running the place with love and that could be felt. This place was such a fem on my way. I needed to rest badly so this was so much appreciated! Great location, lovely views from the terrace, really really comfy beds! Hosts make you feel completely at home. Breakfast also delicious!

Nothing the property can help but it's a bit noisy in the morning (roosters/dogs), which might be an issue if you are a light sleeper.

The mattress was comfortable, and the memory foam pillows were a nice touch. The sheets were cheap and kept coming off the pillows however. The upstairs sitting area with all the plants was lovely.

To start, this place does not have hot water with good pressure, as several other reviews state. It has the same typical electric showerhead water heater. Choose hot water or good flow, but not both at the same time. The problem started on my arrival, as the house is not located on the street, but up a pedestrian alleyway. I texted in the morning to tell the my expected arrival time, which they acknowledged. However, they did not send instructions as to how to find their location. After arrival on their street, I texted them, without receiving a reply, and walked around for about 20 minutes trying to find it. Finally I found it by wandering up the alley and saw their small sign. If you know your place is hard to locate, you should ensure guests do not have a problem finding your house. I stayed for 4 days/3 nights, but there was no cleaning service provided, and the toilet paper can filled up with no way to empty it. It was rather unpleasant. Their dog is cute, as others reported, but when the owners leave it barks its head off inside the house non-stop. At 7:30am one day the owners stepped out, and the dog woke up everyone in the place by barking continuously for about 10 minutes. Apparently checkout time is 10am sharp, which I did not know. On the morning of my 4th and final day there, the owner pounded on my door at 10:05 am and told me I had to leave so he could clean for the next guest. Mind you, the room next to mine was vacant during my entire stay. Finally, he argued with me one morning about where I am from. Although raised in the US, I've lived permanently in Mexico for over 10 years and usually tell people I'm from there, as that is my home. I am fluent in Spanish but of course do have an accent. However, this was not enough for the man, as he wanted to know my detailed history, and then told me I couldn't be from Mexico because "they speak Spanish there" and told me that I didn't.
