This was our favorite stop on our trip to Iceland. The house had everything we needed and was super cozy. The host was incredibly welcoming and told us about some local traditions that made our trip memorable. We only stayed 1 night but wished we stayed for a few days at least. The house is right by the ferry and parking is very easy. We look forward to coming back!

Everything about this property was amazing. The location, the amenities in the apartment, and the host. While it is located on a quiet, residential street, it is within walking distance to all shops and also a really great bakery. Street parking is available. The property was immaculately clean and came with everything I needed. I was even able to do laundry. Tomas is an exceptional host. He is very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and can tell you the best spots to hike and to view puffins. I stayed for two nights and wished I had stayed longer. I recommend staying more than one night. There is so much to see and you will not regret it!

The host was very friendly and helpful. We came for a weekend in Aug. to see the puffins and he told us where to go, gave us lots of information about puffins as well. The accommodation had more than we needed for 2-4 people. The kitchen was very well equipped. This top unit has sloping ceilings, so taller folks will need to duck a bit to reach the sides of the bed. The town has restaurants, grocery stores, shops, parks & playgrounds, museums, a hop on/off tourist bus, water and land tours, and hiking trails to the hills and volcanoes. A car is useful to reach the puffin lookout or golf course, but visitors can book a tour, bike, use an electric scooter or the bus.
