A period property with bags of character with beams and uneven floors complete with modern day facilities situated in a village approximately half an hour from the coast. The house was very clean, warm and full of quirky features.

I wished that the entrance to the drive was wider.

It was a beautiful location lovely garden we were blessed with good weather so that was a bonus. The cottage was well equipt. There was a welcome package that was lovely. Lots of dvds books games, bedding immaculate kitchen very clean.

I think the cottage must have been cleaned then left empty a while as I had a huge spider web between my bathroom and bedroom door with a massive spider in it ! A quick check before we came would have picked up on this. I am very scared of spiders! But I expect insects etc in an old place but there were a lot of cobwebs and spiders 🕷. But its no ones fault

An extra shower would have been convenient given that we were a family of five ! The garden was beautiful but a bit wild, especially given some recent heavy rain !
