It's ok for the price

I liked the location, building, neighbourhood, and the apartment was pretty big

The facilities were poor, and I asked for two separate bed sheets which I never received

convenient location near the Vatican, but the stay was impacted by unexpected fees, poor soundproof

The location is excellent — it's within walking distance to the Vatican, which is very convenient for those who want to line up early for the Vatican Museums. The room is also very spacious, with a dining table, sofa, and other amenities.

Unfortunately, our experience was affected by several issues. First and foremost, there was no mention of the €30 late check-in fee anywhere on the Booking.com page before payment. Only after completing the reservation did we find a note (in Italian) under the check-in instructions that check-in after 8:00 PM would incur a €30 charge (and €50 after 11:00 PM). I believe this lack of transparency is not acceptable. I've stayed at many hotels and apartments and have never been charged a late check-in fee. If you're expecting a late arrival, I would not recommend this property. Our original flight was scheduled to arrive at 6:30 PM, but as with many international flights, there was a delay, and we ended up having to pay the extra €30. If I had seen this condition before paying, I would have chosen a different place. Thankfully, after a week of back-and-forth communication with Booking.com customer service, I was promised a refund of the €30. Besides the issue with the unclear check-in policy, the property itself is in an older building, so sound insulation and facilities are poor. We were disturbed at night by children running and furniture being dragged upstairs. On top of that, we had an elevator breakdown for 2.5 days, which meant climbing seven flights of stairs with no alternative. It was only repaired just in time for our checkout — had it not been, we would have had to carry our two heavy suitcases all the way down. The bathroom ceiling was also shedding dust, likely due to aging infrastructure. Finally, despite booking four nights for two people, we were only provided with one set of toiletries and towels, which was enough for just one shower each. This level of preparation was disappointing.

Lokalizacja, ładny wystrój mieszkania i klatki schodowej, wycofanie od ulicy, kapsułki do kawy, bliskość do Watykanu i przystanków autobusowych, mieszkanie było duże i przestronne, dostęp do youtube'a; niedaleko restauracje i sklep wielobranżowy PEWEX. Wymienione w komentarzach hałasy dotyczą tego, że podłogi w budynku są z lastryko a u góry są dzieci, nam nie przeszkadzały te odgłosy.

Doba hotelowa zaczyna się o 15, dla nas to było trochę za późno..., zamiast poszewki były dwa prześcieradła co było mało higieniczne, można by zainwestować w lepsze oświetlenie.
