VRBO ID# 3883042) The Flip Flop Retreat on Dewey Lake * 7 bedrooms * 4,000 sq. ft. * 60 feet of private shallow sandy lakefront * 2 kitchens * Game room * 2023 Harris Cruiser Pontoon (Required to rent most dates in the summer) * Weber Genesis Grill with propane * Firepit is lakeside with firewood provided * Swim platform past pier * Kayaks and Paddle boat lakeside We have 60 ft of Private Sandy shallow lakefront which is perfect for kids to play. Lakefront will include 3-4 Kayaks, paddle boat, swim platform past the dock, Water pad for kids to play on, Firepit and plenty of patio furniture. Lakehome has a large open floor plan with 2-stories of windows facing the lake. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, Beachy/Nautical theme. Home has a finished lower level walk-out with 2nd kitchen, 2nd laundry area, additional patio area, TV area and large game room (Ping Pong, Foosball, Air Hockey, Dart Board, Board games). Sister Lakes area has the famous Driftwood Ice Cream Parlor, Sister Lakes Brewery, The Strand Restaurant, Lakeview Inn, Timberline Inn, 5 Mile Drive-In, Dockside Dan’s which are all just minutes away. Nearby is St Joe, New Buffalo, South Haven, Lake Michigan, Saugatuck. If you're into wine, Dewey lake has many Wineries within 30 min. Golf courses 15 min away. Home rentals on Dewey Lake are in high demand and we are normally booked 8-15 months in advance. Pricing from November through April are for parties of up to 10 people. This is a great house for a large group. It is clean and well appointed. Everything was in working order and the owner was easy to work with and very responsive to questions. We’re hoping to go back again next year. Highly recommended!

We had a group of 5 couples and myself and the house size was perfect and very comfortable. The views of lake make cottage home relaxing, and offer beautiful sunrises. We took advantage of renting a pontoon boat that is available and docked right on Dewey Lake across the street from cottage. Group enjoyed boat rides and fishing. Thanks Bill for sharing your Lake home with us, highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it.

We spent Mother's Day weekend at Bill's property and it was excellent. My in-laws arrived first and Bill showed them around. There was plenty of space for our extended family. The kids had a great time in the game room and we all especially loved using the kayaks and paddleboat. We would absolutely stay there again in the future. Bill was available via text if we had any questions.

Our trip was an extended, early spring, weekend getaway with friends and family including 8 adults, 4 adult children (18-21) and 2 children (13-16) and we had a great time! First, Bill is an outstanding host. He is very easy to work with, was very informative, and returned our calls/texts promptly. We would definitely like to work with him again. The house is beautiful and has three levels. Upstairs had 3 King bedrooms and full bath. The Main level had a Queen Bedroom, Master Bath, Living room, dining room & kitchen. There is also a large deck off the dining area which has great views of the lake directly across the street. The basement had a King Bedroom, a Queen Bunk Bed room and then a Twin Bunk room. It also had a full bath, kitchen, small living room and a game room with Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Foosball & a Dart Board. The house is very clean, modern and has an open concept with high ceilings on the main level so it was a great space for us all to be together playing games etc. The house is directly across from Dewey Lake and they have a large cemented area on the water which will be great for lounging, fishing, boating and swimming in the summer. We went to Dockside Dans for lunch and it was very good and reasonably priced. The house is also only 30 minutes to St. Joe's which is a nice area with local shops and Kilwins Ice Cream Parlor. We would definitely come back again, hopefully at some point in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful lake. Thanks again Bill....5 stars!

Bill's place was absolutely perfect for our group of friends. It was clean, spacious, and had just about everything you could possibly need. The views are gorgeous! Bill was also very easy to get ahold of. If you're looking in this area, this place is a must stay.

Great place got a larger group. There are many comfortable bedrooms. Great location across from the lake. We loved the patio next to the lake. The house had every needed item to enjoy a getaway.

We really enjoyed our week at this property! The location is fantastic and it’s a large space with plenty of room - we had four families and small children. The dock and lake area in front of the house was perfect. There was a nice sandy area for kids and the lily pad was a hit. The owner was communicative from the beginning and made the whole process really smooth. Would highly recommend this spot and would definitely return for another vacation.

We were in town for my sons wedding and my husband and I stayed here with my 3 sons and some of his groomsmen. We had more than enough room and everything that we needed. The house is very nice and very clean. Beautiful view. It was nice to be able to walk down to the water. If we had more time we would have rented the pontoon. We enjoyed our stay.
