About this cabin rental
Lake cabin with sandy beach on Long Lake near Park Rapids.
Up north 3 hours from the Twin Cities.
1 bedroom, 1 bathroom.
Great fishing, free use of dock, kayaks, canoe, grill and firepit. Bring your own life jackets, fishing poles, and beach towels. The cabin sleeps 2 comfortably since there is only one bedroom (king size bed).
We would also appreciate that there are no other or extra guests invited to the cabin during your stay.

Also, most summer weekends are currently blocked for family, but several weekends become unblocked as the time approaches when family is not planning to use the lake cabin, so watch for the weekends to become unblocked as the time approaches.

As first time VRBO users we couldn't have asked for a better host. The location was secluded yet minutes away from shopping/dining etc. Mark was very communicative throughout the entire booking process. Small but meaningful touches included pre-stacked wood by the bonfire pit, a notification that the cabin was available for an early check-in if we arrived prior to 4:00, a recycling bin and accessible hosts throughout the weekend. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property, clean and comfy space, and welcoming hosts. Got great nights sleep after days of hiking at the State Park. I loved my time there and probably would stay again. My only issue was the shower stall is quite small, and I couldn't shower without bumping my elbows. I'm 5'10, with long arms and legs and it just wasn't an enjoyable experience. Otherwise, all around great place to stay!

What a great find this was! The “Summer House” was very clean and comfortable and the views of the lake were beautiful. We were so thankful for the use of Mark’s kayaks for a quick trip around the lake. After a few days on the road this was just the place we needed to relax a bit. Mark is one of the most gracious hosts we have come across. Would definitely stay here again.
