The view is spectacular! Very close to everything.

We loved the location. It was a 15 minute walk to the town centre which meant we were out of the tourist bustle but close enough to access it when we wanted to.
We could only open one of side of the balcony door - it could have been us, but it made it difficult to get onto the balcony which was a one foot step down. Once on the balcony it was lovely watching the port activities.

It was very welcoming. The owner sent access details with photos to help so was easily recognisable. It’s a second floor apartment so about 40 stairs to access but the view is so well worth it. It looks over the harbour shipping/ marina area/ with view also up toward the hill with the town. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching all the boat activity.
The place was spotless, and nice touch was a little bowl with sweets and snacks on the table, and drinking water in the fridge. Instructions how to get the hot water and wifi were clear.
It was a 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal although I got a taxi as it was night when I arrived.
It was hard lugging my case up all the stairs, but it has hand rails and I only had to do it once!
Traffic can be noisy as the busy road is directly below, but it didn’t bother me. Just bring ear plugs if you are affected by noise.
