Everything about this hotel was impressive. The staff person was respectful, attentive, and always ready to help. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, while the food was delicious and well-prepared.

Personal war super lieb. Eine Gast freundliche Familie, die super leckeres Abendessen und Frühstück zubereitet hat. All unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Würde es daher auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

This place is run by the most caring and genuine family, and I will confidently recommend this place for your stay!
The building is new, the room has everything basic that you need, including a kettle and hair dryer, (which hasn’t been available anywhere else I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka so far).
Delicious home-cooked meals were served on the personal balcony. The mother cooks everything herself and uses ingredients grown in her beautiful garden. The portions were very generous, enough to feed a village!
The location is good, with just a walk from the bus stop, and shops & restaurants nearby.
What really makes this place stand out are the owners, I felt so well taken care of. They got in contact with me before my arrival and arranged the Udawalawe national park safari for me. On arrival, I was welcomed with homemade orange juice. They packed a breakfast for the safari and even sent me off with some fruit from their garden on my last day. In the evenings when it rained, the host always checked in with me to see if I have electricity or if there are any issues with the room. And to top things off, they drove me to my next accommodation for a reasonable price, as the bus journey would have been 3x as long.
I will look back to my stay here with fond memories and encourage you to book your stay here if you want to experience the true Sri Lankan hospitality! 🧡
It would be nice to have internet available. Also, some ants in the room but they are not harmful and they are everywhere in Sri Lanka :)

The resort was very clean and beautiful, there are 3 rooms surrounded by palm trees in the owners' garden. He made a lot of effort, was very friendly and helpful, but communication was a bit difficult as he hardly speaks English. The food was freshly cooked for us by his mother and the portions were huge. The meals were nothing too special but totally fine. The accommodation is well suited for a one-night stay followed by a safari in the National Park very close by. Would definitely recommend it.
