LIVING & OUTDOOR SPACES
The heart of the home is a generous open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area that flows seamlessly onto a large, north-facing timber deck. It’s ideal for morning coffee, long lunches or relaxed evenings, with outdoor seating for up to six plus a dining table and chairs.
Large windows throughout fill the home with natural light. In cooler months, the wood heater creates a cosy and inviting atmosphere, while a newly installed split-system heating and cooling unit keeps the house comfortable year-round, making it an easy place to settle in, whether it’s a sunny summer afternoon or a cosy winter evening by the fire.
Please note: our driveway is unsealed and on an incline, with trees on one side and the house on the other. It adds to the privacy of the property, but parking can be tight for larger 4WDs and it isn’t suitable for boats. There is, however, ample street parking available on Atherton Road.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The house is full of charm and personality, with the most adorable mermaid-themed décor and quirky design touches throughout. I absolutely loved all the pink accents and pink appliances – my favourite colour, so it felt like the perfect holiday home for me!The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the coastline whenever we wanted. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home.Travelling with our dog was easy, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing. Another huge bonus was the table tennis table, which was a big hit with our teens and kept them entertained for hours.Mark was a wonderful host—very welcoming, friendly, and easy to communicate with. He provided clear instructions before arrival, making check-in simple and completely stress-free.Overall, this is a unique, welcoming, and well-equipped beach house that combines comfort, character, and a great location. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun coastal getaway, especially if you love quirky décor, a splash of pink, and family-friendly extras.

La Sirena is very well situated and close to shops and the beach. We had plenty of space and the house had everything we needed for our long weekend, and we loved spending time on the deck. The fireplace was nice to have on on the cold nights.Our kids loved all the mermaids and tried to guess how many there were.Mark was very responsive before and during our stay, we would definitely recommend this property.

Comfortable, quirky fun interior, great appliances, clean and had everything we needed. Clear instructions for setup and leaving. Only negative was the driveway as it has bushes both sides and hard to get in and out ofA bigger car.
