Our family had a wonderful stay at Celes Samui, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.
The resort is beautiful, with lush palm trees, immaculate gardens, and three fantastic swimming pools—an incredible saltwater infinity pool, another lovely saltwater pool, and a very long freshwater pool. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it always felt peaceful, spacious, and uncrowded. The breakfast was simply outstanding—one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever enjoyed.
Our stay didn’t begin perfectly. We were initially given a lovely poolside room, but the air conditioning had intermittent problems. After moving us to another room with a similar issue, Khun Ae, the hotel manager, personally met with us and, without us even asking, upgraded our family to a beautiful sea-view villa. Her professionalism and genuine care turned a difficult situation into an unforgettable holiday.
A special thank you also to NaNa at reception, whose warmth, kindness, and constant smile made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect—peaceful and relaxing, yet only a few minutes from the lively Fisherman’s Village.
Thank you to everyone at Celes Samui for making our family holiday so memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend this wonderful resort.
The sea is not really a good spot for bathing. One needs to look for a better beach as the sea floor feels like one is walking on jelly not sand. Ok for water sport sap and kayak.

We liked the pool, very good breakfast, quiet, nice for families.
The room was not clean, even we called at the reception they didn t cleaned the rooms and did not refiiled the mini bar.

Location, was ok.
We didn’t have the chance to try it, as there was never somebody working there, but the health clinic is very cool idea.
The pools are good, but don‘t expect any atmosphere, service or drinks … the vibe is more of a „magic life club in turkey without the service and german tourists reserving benches with towels before they go to the breakfast“
When you arrive, they don‘t show you where everything is … not like usually when you arrive in a resort.
Stay with the asian breakfast and sweets, everything else tastes like in a retirement home and is actually without taste. Even the bacon … don‘t know how they are able to remove the taste from bacon.
The garden villa is old and smelly, leave on the ac otherwise your stuff will smell like a wet dog.
You can see they have to save on everything and don‘t even provide lotion in the bathroom.
There is nowhere staff to ask for towels or anything, not at one of the pools nor on the beach terrace. and when you call the reception they pick up the phone, but you won‘t achieve anything as they are always busy.
They just close the main breakfast place during day and in the evening … so you can‘t stay there after breakfast and get some work done. at 10:00 the breakfast is closed and at 10:30 they ask you to leave … and this in Koh Samui.
On the day we were leaving, there were at least 3 celes vans, operative with drive, just standing there. non of them could take us quickly to the beach club next door, also to leave the luggage there and pick it up later, was not an option.
If I want this kind of experience, I can go to the ibis next door.
So if you are „half dead“ and like hospital food, I can recommend this hotel.
