We stayed in gigi apartment. The views of Eiger and the town are spectacular. The new feel of the room as they have been renovated. The reception and staff in the main hotel are very kind and efficient with their service and responding to our queries. There is an equipped kitchenette with all the basic features you will need. Washing machine, dryer and laundry soap are all free for use at anytime before 10pm which helped a lot.
It is self serviced unit, make sure you bring your own coffee/tea, milk, the very basic cooking ingredients like cooking oil/butter. It is up on quite a steep hill plus there are at least 10 steps to get to the apartment but if you are fit enough or have a car you are fine.

The Glen was a little slice of heaven. We really enjoyed our time there. The location to public transport was incredible.

No breakfast, the kitchenette with the fridge and stove was beneficial. The washer and dryer were a great service.
We were directed to reception to pick with the lockbox code to access the door fob at the property, which could have been messaged. From the reception, there was a 20 minute walk to the room and we were exhausted, so they charged 15 francs for the shuttle to take us to the room. In the room was a pass for free city bus.
