The location was excellent, just a few steps away from the heart of Windermere. It was comfortable with plenty of space for four people and a dog.
The downstairs bedroom gets very cold and the en-suite in there felt very damp unless the extractor was on most of the time.

Central location. Cosy cottage. Well equipped.
Nothing that we didn’t like. However a welcome pack would have been nice. Basic items like tea bags & not uht milk . I manage a holiday home. We provide fresh milk a bottle of wine & flowers. We also set a fire ready to light on arrival. It makes a nice welcome.

Excellent location on the Main Street, very clean and well equipped, beautiful cottage with everything you need. Double glazed and no traffic sounds at all. We all slept like babies ! Decorated and furnished to a very high standard, with good quality, comfortable mattresses in all rooms and goose down bedding. Flat screen tv’s wall mounted in all rooms, radio, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster etc all provided. Lovely little enclosed garden with water feature, quality garden furniture and BBQ. Very dog friendly. So good we didn’t want to leave!
Really struggling to think of anything that would have improved this wonderful, cosy and comfortable cottage !
