Lovely place to stay right in the heart of San Juan. Everything is nearby which makes it very convenient. The owners were great and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. There was a small issue in my room and without hesitation they changed rooms for me. I really appreciate their hospitality and for being very welcoming. I am also a female solo traveler and I felt very safe!

After trudging up the hill with your luggage this hotel provides a clean comfortable place to rest your weary self. (of course you could take a tuktuk!) Rooms are well appointed and very clean. The bathroom is small but clean and perfectly adequate for its intention. There is a lovely seating area on the top floor with a kitchen. You can relax on couches or sit at the tables and write postcards. :) The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Upon entering the hotel you immediately encounter a set of stairs, so no actual lobby. The third floor roof top sitting area makes up for it. I was awaken in the middle of the night by the smell of burning plastic. But this had nothing to do with the hotel.
