It was a very clean and tidy hotel and the deco of the hotel was just like its name Gem. We had a very comfortable stay and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. Their Spa was excellent. It was walking distance to Village Market and Gigiri Courtyard which was great. The security at the hotel was very good and thorough.
I couldn’t fault anything at the hotel.

Beautiful property with really interesting design and very comfortable beds. We mentioned upon booking that it was our honeymoon and the staff made it so special for us - we were upgraded to the suite and had surprises in our room. The hotel itself was stunning and we made use of the bar and pool while we stayed. We enjoyed dinner at the Troy restaurant. Lovely selection of toiletries and best shower we’ve ever been in.
There were some features in our suite that we couldnt get working, such as the wireless charger and Bose surround sound.

Nice breakfast. Lovely entrance and interior. Cool rooftop bar.
Cramped rooms. Small bathrooms. No storage for personal items. Electronics in room do not work properly. Cleaning staff slow to clean. Left clean light on for over 4 hours on teo separate days and no one came to clean. Pool is small. Maybe good for a one night stay only.
