Elisabeth by the Sea Hotel

Almost everything. The hotel is very well located close to the town's centre but without the downside of any noise. The bedrooms are large and well equipped with very good showers and storage space and a lovely view of the sea and castle. Our bed was very comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel's Patio Restaurant one night which was very good but disappointingly not enough people were eating there which surprised us. The staff were very helpful especially Sergei on welcoming us and when I had some difficulties with the car park. The cleaning staff were very efficient and helpful and we should also mention the very friendly young porter who assisted us with our baggage on arrival and on departure.

The car park which is a few minutes walk from the hotel was not sufficiently monitored during our stay and one evening was actually not accessible. My complaint was however very well received and actioned so full marks to Sergei and to the hotel management there. Separately, the hotel might consider changing the looped soundtrack played at the rooftop pool all day and perhaps adjusting the genre depending on the time of day/night (jazz for dusk?)

Perfect location by the sea. Spotlessly clean. Very good breakfast with a great selection, and chef cooked a variety of eggs to order. Comfy sun beds and roof top bar. Courteous and helpful staff. Wonderful view from the moment you enter the room.

Pool is a dipping pool rather than a swim pool but, we used the sea to swim. No drawer space to unpack properly.

Great location. Comfortable bed.

The A/C did not work properly in the room. We asked multiple times for it to be fixed. I requested before arrival for chocolates and cava to be in the room for a birthday surprise but it was not done. There were lots of towels on the sun loungers on the terrace but the beds were not being used and no staff were assisting this. The quality of the food being served on the terrace is bad.
