This is a newly remodeled 2 bedroom/1.5 bathroom apartment in an old building. It is right in the heart of everything, next to the Tram Stop and the SCC shopping mall. It’s about a 20 min walk into the Old Town. And even though it’s on a busy street, it was quiet. The apartment is on the 5th floor and has a small elevator (there are a few stairs to get to it). The apartment is spacious and clean. There’s a large TV and fast internet, (however it often stalls). The air conditioners are in the living room and the larger bedroom and they work well.
There are 3 grocery stores about a 5 min walk away. It was nice to cook some meals and the appliances worked well, with a large fridge and freezer. Emir supplied the basics like salt/pepper/oil, coffee/tea, sugar and cleaning supplies. And we had a supply of water and Coke in the fridge which was very nice after a long day of travel. Note there is no hot water in the kitchen sink, so everything needs to be washed in the dishwasher.
The bedrooms are good sized, with dressers, night stands and electrical sockets. The beds and the pillows are very firm. The windows all have shades and mosquito netting and block out all of the street noise. The bathroom was a bit small, but the shower is good sized, with good water pressure and lots of hot water. He provided lots of toilet paper and towels. The washing machine is great and there are two drying racks.
But the best part of our stay was our host Emir. He was so good with communication and taking care of all of our needs. The airline lost our luggage and he helped us get it back. You’ll want to discuss payment options with him before you arrive.
If you want to sleep with the windows open, you’ll need earplugs since the traffic noise is pretty loud.

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in diesem Apartment. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, super sauber und mit extrem viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es fehlt absolut an nichts – selbst für einen längeren Aufenthalt ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht.
Ein riesiges Dankeschön an die Gastgeber Emir und seine Mutter! Emir war unglaublich nett, immer erreichbar und hat uns bei allen Fragen sofort geholfen.
Auch die Lage ist unschlagbar: Ein großes Einkaufszentrum liegt direkt vor der Tür, die Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist gleich nebenan und in die Altstadt kommt man ebenfalls schnell und unkompliziert zu Fuß oder mit der Tram.
Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können das Apartment jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen!

We liked the Apartment very much! It was very clean, the location is perfect, the flat has everything you could need and the owner picked us up from the airport!
We had a great stay and would recommend gladly to anybody.
The bedroom on the street side can be a bit noisy with open windows. Not a big deal tho.
