We had the best stay, the staff were friendly and accomodating, creating a calming atmosphere. The food was phenomenal. The location is great, it's close enough to easily get into the city but far enough away that you can escape the city chaos. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed on while travelling. Once again I cannot overstate how amazing the staff were, truly the loveliest people. Honourable mention is also that they have two cute dogs that I wished I could have taken home with me!!

Uma Residence is great - great interior design and concept, wonderful rooms, we had a huge terrace with flowers attached to our room. Great sleep quality. Very cozy and beautiful garden, excellent breakfast. And very warm welcome from the host. Uma literally saved our last night in Nepal after we got a very disappointing experience with another hotel in Kathmandu. We’ll come back!

Quite upscale of setting. Secluded, beautiful outdoor area, and room layout and design is done professionally. Truly feels like am on a nice vacation. Only 15 min away from city center. Actually not far! Cheap taxi ride in and out.

Uma is just an amazing hotel! Super clean, nice and just the best place to relax in Kathmandu. We had the best sushi and other food during our trip here. We really enjoyed our stay.
