Aarya Hotel and Spa - Eternal Heritage

The location was excellent, staff were all so friendly and helpful. the staff outside always greeted us with a "namaste". such a nice touch. A special thank you to Khushbu Oman and Ronish Neharika Rupesh, extremely accommodating to our needs.

If I have to add one thing that could do with some improvement I would say its the spa/steam/sauna room. It lacked a luxury or serene look and feel. Felt more like an old gym spa. In addition, I had a wonderful massage but to have to walk through a gym to get to it, was less than ideal.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Aarya Hotel and Spa, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best hotel experiences of our trip to Nepal! The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are well maintained, the facilities are excellent, and the location in Thamel is perfect for exploring Kathmandu. Everything about the hotel made our stay enjoyable, relaxing, and convenient. However, what truly makes this hotel exceptional is its incredible staff and the genuine hospitality they provide. I would especially like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Khushbu and Rupesh at the reception, who were absolutely outstanding throughout our stay. They were always welcoming, professional, patient, and incredibly kind. Their willingness to help and their positive attitude made us feel genuinely cared for. We also experienced a very unexpected and stressful situation during our visit. On the day we were supposed to check out, we took a Mount Everest sightseeing flight, but due to severe weather conditions, our aircraft was diverted to Biratnagar Airport in eastern Nepal. We suddenly found ourselves stranded far away from Kathmandu, unable to return to the hotel as planned, and uncertain about when we would be able to get back. In such an unexpected situation, having a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests makes an enormous difference. We contacted the hotel to explain what had happened and requested assistance with our room and an additional night's stay. The understanding, kindness, and willingness to help that we received were truly remarkable. Instead of adding to an already stressful situation, the hotel team made us feel supported and reassured. A very special thank you to Khushbu and Rupesh for their exceptional kindness, understanding, and assistance. Their professionalism and genuine concern went far beyond what we would normally expect from hotel reception staff.

Lovely staff, super helpful especially Khushbu Oman and Shreaddha Ronish Rupesh! Breakfast was great and we loved the sauna, pool and spa!

It has a beautiful view from the rooftop restaurant.

The rooms are advertised on Booking.com as having city views. Given in addition, that the hotel is a skyscraper, one would expect to see the city from the windows. Instead, I was initially given a room with a window facing the boilers It was only the following day that the hotel upgraded me to a suite, which I appreciated , but I didn’t like the overall experience .
