Host was very easy to communicate with and flexible as my arrival plans changed. Even though they were in the hospital, they still helped coordinate picking up the key with their mother and father who lived nearby who were very sweet and helpful. They didn’t speak much English, but they did a great job of explaining what I needed to know by pointing to things and occasionally using Google Translate. They were very nice and the apartment was very pretty and clean with nice art and a great location right near good food, bars, parks, live music, and easy access to public transit to the airport. It felt like a family was welcoming me with hospitality while also feeling private and comfortable.
The apartment is at the top floor of a building accessible by staircase only. I was ok, but if you have difficulty with stairs this is something to keep in mind. The exact location of the apartment entrance door was difficult to find on Maps. The host sent pictures and was helpful in guiding to it, so make sure to look at these before.

La propriétaire de l’appartement était très réactive. Il n’y a eu aucun problème lors de notre séjour. Il faut juste noté que l’appartement est au dernier étage de l’immeuble. Donc pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, cela peut poser problème.

Apartment was walking distance from almost all Sarajevo landmarks. Clean and host was really frendly.
