On the whole, the villa was good, just let down by the poor checking and upkeep of the equipment and

The villa was airy, spacious with all the basics you would want for a 9 days stay (washing machine, dishwasher, etc). The pool area was good and the pool very clean. You could sit by the pool in the sun or shade as you wanted, and it was very pleasant. Having 3 bathrooms with their own toilet, plus a downstairs toilet was very convenient. we had some problems with the villa (see below). Our guest relations guy, Fabio, was excellent though. He was very response and quick to answer our calls and attend the villa to fix things. Some things he managed to fix and some he needed others to fix, like the air conditioning which was beyond his control. He did all this in a willing and helpful attitude.

There were a lot of broken things in the villa on our arrival. The air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms didn't work and could not be fixed during our 9 day stay. the host did get us a portable AC unit though which was better, but very noisy. The fridge and freezer didn't keep things cold enough, so the host bought an additional fridge freezer for us. One of the bathroom sink taps didn't work, so the host fiex it. The material of the outdoor sun loungers was very flimsy and it was too easly to accidentally put a foot or hand through it when trying to get up, which people had obviously done before us. There were other broken draws in the bedrooms which didn't affect us, but added to the poor impression of the upkeep of the villa. Our guest relations guy, Fabio, was excellent though.
