The place was as it says...huge. There was eight adults and we could all socialise in one room or separate in other areas. Beds were really comfortable and heating was really good throughout the house. So much space and having the garage was nice.
The heater fan in the main bedroom was quite loud though. You do turn the heating off at night but there are times when you are in bed and others are wanting the heater on in their room. Only 1 tea towel was supplied and could not find a chopping board.

Big enough for 8 adults & 2 children. Inside was fairly clean, but the back yard could do with some love.
So many 'rules' given by the owner, you would think it was a $5 million property.

The communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish. They were prompt, efficient and polite in the lead-up to our stay, throughout our visit and afterwards. The location was also fantastic and very convenient for our visit to Sovereign Hill
Unfortunately, we felt the house was quite worn and tired and in need of some TLC. While it appeared clean at first glance, on closer inspection there were a number of areas that would benefit from a thorough deep clean and some general maintenance. We noticed dust, hairs, scuff marks on the walls, dirty kitchen splashbacks and cobwebs around the curtains.
It has the potential to be a lovely place to stay, particularly given the excellent location, but in its current condition we unfortunately wouldn’t choose to stay again or feel comfortable recommending it to others. With some maintenance, attention to detail and a really good deep clean, it could be a great property.
