Location was great, shop within walking distance and close to Puerto del Carmen. Planes also within walking distance. Hygiene was very good. The pool was warm and big enough. Villa plus, the host, was super for us. Called with a problem and was solved immediately the very same evening. We give a 10 out of 10 for that. Even on arrival super communication and we were even allowed into the house earlier which I thought was fantastic.
There are only 2.5 things that bothered us. The 1st one is a big one though and that is the beds. The mattresses are terribly hard. You can feel the springs stagger every time you turn. We had to put blankets on the mattresses to make them slightly softer but that didn't help. 2nd, I would still provide a very small welcome package like water or something anyway. Most cottages do this in Lanzarote. We come to Lanzarote 3 times a year and this is the 1st house that does not provide water. The 3rd is only a small one so only half and these were the prohibition signs everywhere. There were more than paintings on the wall. Of course I understand that one wants to prevent and warn but there were so many that this obviously does not always come across well to tenants. Price/quality is definitely good for the location and hygiene as well as the outdoor area but the mattresses really should be addressed and possibly a bit more kitchen tools like a blender or a slightly bigger dishwasher. I give it at least 8.5/10 and even almost 9 but I also want a good night's sleep and that was not the case.
