Essential ist ein Haus über vier Stockwerke, dazu noch eine Dachterrasse mit einem sehr schönen Blick aufs Meer. Das Haus hat einen besonderen Charme im Vergleich zu einem Hotelzimmer, die Einrichtung hat einen eigenen Charakter und enthält alles, was man braucht. Man kann sich sehr wohlfühlen. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, im Zentrum mit vielen Lokalen, ganz in der Nähe des Meeres. Trotz der Lage im Zentrum ist es sehr ruhig und entspannend. Der Gastgeber Marco ist sehr freundlich und jederzeit ansprechbar, wenn es Fragen gibt. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war auch zur Vorbereitung des Aufenthalts problemlos. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was very cosy, comfortable, and had everything we needed.
Marco was an amazing host! He gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants, street food, cafés, and so many other things. His tips really helped us enjoy our time and discover some wonderful local places.
The only small thing missing was shampoo in the bathroom, which would have been a nice touch. Otherwise, everything was great!
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you, Marco, for your hospitality!

Marco was the perfect host. He proudly told us the apartment was the 'skinniest' in Poligano - which of course meant a lot of stairs! It had everything you need, one room to each floor: one good bedroom, one adequate bedroom without direct access to a bathroom. The location was excellent, in the heart of the old town. You could easily walk anywhere. There was also a nice roof terrace (on level 5!). We were provided with water, coffee and a lovely bottle of Rosato.
You have to be prepared for stairs. Lots of steep stairs, so not for everyone. We had to leave our suitcases on level 2 (the living room); Marco kindly carried them to level 2 (and offered to take them further) but we refused, knowing we had to take them down again!
