Excellent location in the sense of proximity to the MUSA Botanical Garden of Manaus, which are just on the other side of the Rua Uirapuru /Av. Margarita road, especially convenient if you use early morning entry to the observation tower (The MUSA entry is within walking distance but I cannot be sure if it is safe to walk around the neighbourhood, we used the car anyway). Sometimes howler monkeys or toucans can be observed on the other side. The premises with green lawns and a swimming pool are used by events during daytime, but are calm at night and early in the morning. The room and the kitchen/eating space are large and have plenty of electric outlets. The walls around the premises and the gate are high and look safe. The owner is nice and helpful.
Mosquitos can be a problem, keeping the doors closed and using a repellent device is recommended. Heavy vehicles at night on the road behind the house can be heard sometimes. There is not much in terms of shops in the surrounding streets.
