Property is very well presented, very clean and has a lovely layout, excellent kitchen facilities and thoughtful leaving milk and a few essentials on arrival.

A perfect location for a view of the estuary. Loved waking up watching the tide come in with our first cup of tea. Also amazing that you can see so far towards London you could predict the weather rolling in! Ideal for access to the trains as Chalkwell Station is only a 5 minute walk and perfect for good walks down to Old Leigh or along Chalkwell Beach, plus uphill to the many shops and eateries in The Broadway and Leigh Road.
I can imagine the balconies are a fabulous bonus in the summer months.
Bernadette is an amazing host and very helpful with suggestions for restaurants/pubs and places of interest. Also, any questions are answered quickly - not all Booking.com Hosts respond with such speed.
Parking is tight if you have a large car, but we managed to park diagonally with small over hang on pavement and easy access to front door. We struggled a little with the Glass TV in the main bedroom but soon mastered the sequence buttons on the remote.
