Our stay began with me not knowing where to park (I’m not from a big city so I don’t quite understand the rules). I called the hotel and spoke with a wonderful staff member that was so patient and walked me through the steps one by one. When we went inside, that same friendly voice greeted us from behind the desk! She was so nice and sweet! She took her time with us and we never felt rushed even with others waiting their turn.
When we went to the room, it was beautiful! Nice and cool in there (it was a bit muggy at this time of year) and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the view was spectacular! We had the balcony view with a clear path to the lake!
Overall, this property was amazing! We have stayed one other time in Chicago at a different hotel that was supposedly a higher rating and was far from impressed. This hotel beat that one by far! If we return to Chicago, I will definitely stay here again!
