My husband and I stayed at this hotel recently when visiting family stationed at Fort Campbell. It was extremely close to the base (a 7 minute drive) so it was super convenient! There were a few gas stations and fast food places nearby, including one gas station and a McDonald’s within walking distance.
The room was about what one would expect for a smoking room, but it wasn’t disgusting and the smell was minimal. The facilities were decent and you could tell that they had tried to improve the place. (The whole building looked like it had been painted in the last couple of years, and while we were there maintenance was working on filling in cracks/holes in the balcony.) They offered coffee and I think complimentary breakfast, but we didn’t utilize these. The minimal interactions we had with staff were pleasant (we didn’t need much and spent little time there other than sleeping.)
Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a decent place to stay without breaking the budget. We’ll probably stay here again in the future!

The room was mostly clean. The floor needs cleaned and some mold under the edge in the tub.
They charged us $50 in case we messed up the room. It was supposed to be returned today. So far it hasn't been.
The breakfast was skimpy and was not to be taken to our room to eat.
