WoodSpring Suites Tacoma - Lakewood

Quiet and staff very helpful.

This is a budget hotel with excellent staff. No coffeemaker in the room, but free coffee in the lobby every morning. No pool, no free breakfast. The place was very clean, and every employee was helpful. The room is simple, and done in a way that is easy to clean. The flooring looks like vinyl plank, so it can be mopped. So much better than a questionable carpet. The comfortable bed has no boxspring, but instead is a very thick mattress on a high frame, so you can see right under it and see that is is clean. Also high enough to slide your suitcases underneath. The kitchenette has a 2 burner stove, microwave, full refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The hotel provides a minimum of kitchen supplies, (one pot, one pan, 2 forks, 2 spoons, 2 plates and 2 mugs), bring your own if you need more. Bathroom towels are minimal, we barely had enough for 2 of us. I didn't check to see if I could get more. This hotel is a long term stay for many people. I found the other guests to be pleasant and helpful. We stayed at the beginning of our road trip, and decided to go back again at the end of our trip.

Love the location, extended stay features. Staff is the best, always kind responsive and on point...Sad they removed the fence for the dog park. Puts all pets at risk for getting into mischief..Coffee until 10am would be great!

Nice accommodation with all amenities. Would be nice if they had breakfast.
