The Old Wooden Bridge Resort and Marina was perfect for our needs. It's quiet and laid back with super friendly staff. Jimmy was incredibly helpful and adds a colorful flair to the place. He knows the great places to fish. We stayed in one of the newer duplexes. It was clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with basic utensils. We did have neighbors that we could hear during the afternoon, but at night everything was quiet.. The veranda was the perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee and enjoy the breeze and the water. They have floating bungalows to stay in, but we did not get a chance to see them.The key deer came around and wandered through the property freely. If you are looking for simple and clean with a friendly and laid back vibe, this may be the perfect place for you. We will definitely be back!

Kids and I really liked this! First time on a houseboat, they loved it. It was spacious, cool, and clean. The staff was super attentive and supportive and available. We arrived late but they had our name on the door and key inside. Ants had got in one of the bedrooms (how do ants get on a boat!?) and they called Orkin...I would have just went to CVS for some ant spray but they made sure they were gone. Full size fridge, stove, extra bed space, and grills outside. My kids LOVED the pool.
They offer a nice line or drinks and snacks, and DISCOUNT on kayak and canoe rental. They also offer boat rental but we did not try it. We Kayaked and had a nice time, note that if the wind is high go down nearby channels and it was a nice cruise for kayaks. We WILL BE BACK!! Joe
