Overall great service

Overall a good stay, no issues. Too bad there wasn’t a breakfast included, but they push you paying for one at check-in. Although the price is fair… The only physical thing I noticed being a former fire inspector was that they changed out the fire safety alarms in the rooms and left gaping holes in the wall/ceiling due to the new alarms being smaller. Installation company should have provided proper covers to hide the holes….

You can tell that the person who designed the room and what equipment and supplies left in the room, has actually travelled a lot and stayed in many other hotel/motels. Except for forgetting to leave a pen (the front desk gave me one), this was the perfect room. The desk was out of the way but on wheels for when I needed it. The chair was on wheels, swiveled, and had height adjust. This was the first hotel chair in my life that made it conducive for business work. The heat/cold heat exchanger was quieter than most places. Another genius move was having the hallway ice machine in an enclosed room with a door. At other hotels, you are constantly disturbed by the loud noise of filling up ice buckets. Here, no sound. I was pleasantly surprised with lemon ice water in the lobby. On a hot day, this was great. There is no hot tub but this was the first hotel pool warm enough that I didn't have to spend 10 minutes gradually getting use to the temperature while having my wife laugh at me. Also the first hotel pool with towels large enough to dry yourself. The best feature is the scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet. Buttery, not the powdered egg taste of other hotels. I could do a whole review on the great breakfast if this came with your room. Nice being 30 seconds from the 403/QEW. The staff was very accommodating with custom requests. They did not make me feel like I was bothering them. Again, the scrambled eggs - WOW.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Oakville @ Bronte and had a solid experience overall. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and a nice view. Check-in was smooth and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel offers useful amenities like a pool, fitness center, and free Wi-Fi, which added a lot of value. Overall, I'd recommend this Holiday Inn for anyone visiting Oakville. It offers reliable comfort, a friendly team, and good value for the price. We'd happily stay here again.
