Once again, Dormy Inn maintains the standard. We used Dormy Inn at Ginza and really enjoyed our stay so we booked the same hotel chain again in Osaka. Location is great and within 5-10 minutes distance to the subway station. Staff are helpful and polite. Love the onsen and the ramen noodles after 9:30pm. Washer is free and dryer is only 100 yen for 20 minutes and it is not crowded. Overall, Will definitely use the same hotel chain whenever we visit Japan.

Typical to slightly larger than average size room, can keep a suitcase open but it'll be a tight squeeze. Bathroom is a little small and the AC is slow (works well) but other than that they provided free water and snacks as well as late night meals. It's directly attached to a Lawson which is convenient and the staff is always present and very helpful. Bit of a walk from a train station but very close to so many restaurants and main shopping areas. Would come back

The laundry is a little bit trouble, it said need to go downstairs to get key first, but seems without the key still works. Other than that everything is good.

Room was clean and the beds were comfy, but best of all, it was QUIET, and pitch black at night (except for the lights on the A/C unit). The shower room (in the room) included a bathtub, which was nice. Along with the hot spring tub on the top floor were two reclining massage chairs, which were a big plus, and a bookshelf full of books and manga. They also had "ice" pillows for those really hot nights. Although the breakfast looked amazing, we didn't try it. Added bonus: a grocery store across the street. Biggest negative was that the neighborhood is a bit seedy–full of girlie bars and host clubs–but if you want to be near Dotonbori, it's ideal.
