Innkeeper is friendly and the place was fairly clean. Lovely to have coffee and complimentary breakfast on site. Rooms (especially the bathrooms and baseboard heaters) are somewhat dated and could use a refresh. Visited during a chilly time of the year and thermostat was tricky to operate. Heat was set not to go above 75 degrees, which was less than ideal.

Close to Jiminy Peak, so easy to ski and come back before the kids fall asleep.

Great place to stay with a dog. My dog was welcomed with a bag of delicious, boutique-made treats, provided with food and water bowls, a special blanket, and even invited to enjoy a dedicated dog park. The park was huge, impeccably clean, and stocked with fun toys for dogs as well as comfortable chairs for their proud owners. This inn sets the standard for how canine guests should be treated everywhere.
