Upon getting to the Silverland May hotel, I didn’t know what to expect. Lily was the first person to greet me, and she was so bubbly and kind. This is my first time receiving such attention to detail. Coming from New York. I’m used to more corporate setting hotels. This literally feels like an all in one inclusive resort. Although we had a small incident where my friend fell and cut his eyebrow in the bath, the hotel staff made it right by providing us upmost care after that. The room I provided was amazing. From the California King bed to the specialized Jacuzzi, I literally felt like a king, no pun intended, from the second I stepped on the property until I left. The rooftop pool was amazing (Ken makes some amazing drinks to rival any high class NYC rooftop bar), the spa and gym were clean and comfortable, the restaurant had perfectly curated and playful dishes and the entire staff was so lovely. I typically only ever come to a country once to enjoy it and don’t ever return for several years if at all. Because of how well I was treated, I’m seriously considering making Vietnam a once a year vacation ONLY if I were to stay at this same hotel. 10/10. If you’re reading this stop looking at other places to stay, just book here. It’s directly in the middle of both Japantown and D1, and even if you don’t want to explore Ho Chi Minh City, you could very well spend every single day here and still have an amazing trip.

Great place and good location right in Japatown, close to Operahouse and Vincom Center Dong Khoi for shopping. I got an upgrade to a Suite on 12th floor. Room is clean, spacious and everything feel luxurious. Staff were helpful and friendly. Wendy, Brian, Penny were amazing service members. As well as An and Dory at frontdesk. They all really make guests feel comfortable and welcom. Rooftop bar is amazing with a pool and great skyline view of the city. Lovely breakfast buffet and enjoyable afternoon tea with live music.
