We had a wonderful stay at this villa in Gremeno, Crete. The property is beautiful—perfect for a quiet, relaxing escape. We visited at the start of the season, so it was peaceful, which was ideal given our plans for a destination wedding in Chania.
The location is exceptional, with the Libyan Sea just steps away and a private pool. The weather brought warm days and cooler, windy nights, but the villa’s design made all the difference. With multiple outdoor seating areas—both upstairs and downstairs, plus sheltered spots—you can always find a comfortable place to enjoy the views. Even the indoor spaces are positioned to take full advantage of the scenery.
Waking up to sunrise through the large bedroom windows was a highlight. The furniture is stylish and comfortable, and Maria was an excellent, organized host. She greeted us with a lovely welcome basket and fridge essentials, which was such a thoughtful touch. The bathrooms were well-appointed with quality toiletries, and the towels felt high-end.
The property is spotless and well-maintained. Maria also provided helpful books with maps and local history. While the villa feels secluded, it’s just a 5-minute drive to a village with restaurants and shops. A car is necessary to explore the area, especially for mountain drives or trips to Elafonissi Beach. We highly recommend this villa for a peaceful getaway with easy access to Crete’s most beautiful landscapes.

The villa was almost on a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water. The accommodation was lovely, comfortable bed, great decor, terrace with a view of sea and well equipped.
