First impression upon arrival wasn't a good one. The address given was an old wooden door which was locked. Finally noticed the small call button. We heard the door unlock and walked into an unkept and somewhat dirty foyer. The host came down the stairs and explained the rooms were on the second floor of the old building. And there wasn't an elevator. We had lots of really heavy bags and wasn't thrilled with the idea of lugging them up all those stairs. I wasn't very happy at that point. However, the host helped carry the luggage up all those stairs and, when we finally got to the room, our impression was immediately changed. We found a very charming and spacious room pleasantly decorated with all the amenities. The location is central to all the popular tourist spots with plenty of restaurants and gelato shops right outside the door. I'll definitely stay here again.... but with less luggage.

We had 2 family apartments for our family of 5. There is no lift and the stairs were a bit challenging for my in-laws, but the staff helped us carry their bags up to their home. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. We were able to book transportation from the airport to the hotel, and they were able to take us to the Civitavecchia port as well. Would recommend staying here for the location alone. It was within walking distance to so many restaurants, trevi fountain, pantheon and Vatican City.
