The rooms were spacious and clean. We asked for a king size bed. Everything was great. The breakfast buffet was widespread and contained real eggs rather than the us-based hotels that would serve a powder base egg for breakfast buffet which for me was a plus point. You can see the hotel was dated and required a little bit of maintenance but that did not per se affect my stay. The stuff was friendly. Check-in was swiftly. Many thanks to Jasmine which was very helpful on pointing out areas within the hotel radius which was really nice. Overall the experience was great.

Great stay, centrally located, friendly staff, good breakfast. Our only complaint was the.noise coming from the bathroom vent, we herd our neighbors a bit. But, closing the bathroom door stopped the noise.
I'd stay at the Plaza Portal again for sure!
