Marriott Vacation Club at Los Suenos

The pools were a lot of fun. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Our room had a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher which allowed us to get food at the local market. Self-laundry service was convenient as well.

Check-in it’s way too late, and check-out way too early how can a check-in at 4pm and a check-out at 10am be normal or even welcoming to guests? They crossed the line with those times, it didn’t make me feel welcome or respected and as if my money isn’t worth it, feels like they want you there the least amount of time possible. A positive thing about the club it’s the cleaning service, I was there for 2 nights only and the day after my check-in they cleaned the room and got us new clean towels, good to mention also that I had great amount if towels to use, not like other hotels or club where they expect you to use 2 towels during your whole stay or even charge you when you ask for one. Change the check-in and check-out time and it’d be perfect.

The Vacation Club unit was modern, beautiful and very clean. Staff were all very friendly. AC and water pressure were great. No stove in the studio unit, but a dishwasher and large refrigerator was in the unit. Beds can be improved a bit, but overall ok. There is close to the units secured self parking as well as valet parking included with the resort fees. They will automatically charge daily resort fees ($38 per night) which allow you to use the Marriott Resort pools, beach toys and amenities and get access to a resort onsite eco tour which I highly recommend and the smores at night. Beautiful large pool at resort and plenty of beach chairs. Great golf course too. No whirlpool community spas in the facility and if you get the studio unit, you have a communal free washer/dryer in the 2nd floor which were great. Not the most beautiful beach, as sand is dark and lil tyke small rocks, , but very calm and a short walk from unit. The nearby town of Herradura has markets, restaurants and shops nearby if you wish to save money. As everything in the resort was expensive. However, the food was pretty good with American food options available for those that want that comfortability away from home. Overall, a lovely resort.
