Restaurant staff and food very good. Front desk very good. Housekeeping did a poor job, cleaned room once and did not provide hand towels or wash clothes. Common areas are good with the exception of the gym which was totally inadequate.
Lobby, bar, pool areas very nice.
Rooms need an upgrade a little worn.

The hotel was quite stunning with a feeling of luxury, in a great location. Whilst the hotel looked luxurious, the experience itself just lacked a bit of polish to give it 5 stars (systems down at check in, no message to advise the room was ready, no towels left in the room after house keeping, the reception and in house dining phones ringing out several times before answer etc)

Kimpton La Peer used to be my favorite hotel in LA but regrettably I won't be returning.
The room that I received was right next to the service elevator making it extremely loud in the mornings. It was not thoroughly cleaned as I found rose petals underneath a chair directly in the line of site. The A/C heater took a while to actually work so I was either too cold or too hot for most of my stay. The carpet was stained and the room had a slight smell to it.
Upon checkout I requested that my EV be charged and was told that Valet was behind but that it would be taken care of. I waited for over an hour and apparently they forgot to plug it in.
I'll give it three stars for the excellent location but overall I do not feel it was worth the $1200 I paid for 2 nights.
