Well appointed rooms with high quality beds and spacious bathrooms. Friendly and very supportive staff ensured our stay was comfortable and memorable. They were happy to make dinner reservations for us at two restaurants I wanted to try in particular. Lovely breakfast each morning. Room’s AC was very comfortable when the temperature was very hot outside.
This is my third stay at the Charles V and it is our favorite place to stay in Paris. Neighborhood is perfect for walking, shopping, and eating.

Room and the property are just lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. It’s on a quiet street, walking distance to bus and metro, lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast offerings were good, although some fresh fruit other than apples would have been appreciated. For all those people writing about the size of the room, it’s like staying in NYC, so we weren’t put off by the size of the room. It’s quiet and low key but close enough to everything you want to see.

Absolutely marvelous! Perfect room, staff was amazing, and so convenient. We will not stay anywhere else in Paris going forward!

LOVED this hotel. It’s a little jewel in the middle of the Marais. They have a gym with ok equipment and a Hamman (?) I think downstairs that we didn’t have time to use but I would book this place again and again! Really comfortable / nice bed / good sized for Paris.
