Downstairs bar was pretty loud at night and the A/C WiFi was hardly working for most of the trip. However the location is great for walking and seeing the colosseum.

busy street outside the room, I can sleep through anything, but it may be too loud for others.
older building (of course) and could of used some tlc, toilet seat was loose.

I was really happy with my stay at Imperial Rooms. This is not a luxury property but the staff are lovely and ensure you have a safe and secure experience next to the Coliseum. There is no elevator but staff jumped to help me carry my luggage up to the 1st floor. It was remarkably quiet. Everything was very clean. However, the bed could use an upgrade. You must leave your key on site and buzz in after hours but there is always someone at the desk. I would recommend Imperial Rooms for folks on a budget.
