This was absolutely my favorite place to stay in Crete. Absolutely loved my stay in Heraklion. Manos is fantastic. Excellent host. Nice spacious room with a kitchen and fridge. Excellent cannister of coffee, and I want to emphasize how good the coffee was. Very good. Espresso machine. Beautiful courtyard, wooden gates that separate the courtyards into smaller enclosures. A second small sit out attached to the room. I loved my morning sitting in what felt like my private very green courtyard with the lemon trees cacti and other plants.
Manos deserves special mention as a host. He goes out of his way to make one very comfortable. I asked for help with hiring a cab driver to go to the Palinas monastery. He suggested Bessie who I recommend. He called the monastery on my behalf and spoke to the nun in Greek, asked after the opening times. Lovely place to stay. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. My favorite place to stay in Crete.

Fabulous host of this boho vibe accommodation. Decor is rustic and quirky with a beautiful courtyard garden.
Comfortable and in a quiet neighbourhood bit close enough to main attractions in the city.

Great location on a quiet and clean road with short walk to shopping and museums. Property is tucked away from road with a beautiful outdoor garden with table and chairs to enjoy a coffee, a drink, or to eat. Our apartment #3 was very well appointed with a classic style and multiple windows for light and fresh air. Bed was super comfortable. Host was very welcoming and attentive. We felt fortunate to have found such a wonderful place to stay in such a busy city.
