I absolutely loved my stay at Kobe Plaza Hotel and would happily book it again on my next visit. The room was surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards, very clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with an efficient layout that made it feel even larger. The bed was comfortable and I especially appreciated the in-room humidifier and individually adjustable air conditioning, which made a huge difference during the hot and humid weather. The room was also very quiet despite being in such a central area.
The hotel offers a wonderful selection of amenities, including complimentary toiletries and welcome drinks, which were a lovely touch after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of both Japanese and Western options, and everything was fresh and delicious.
The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It is conveniently located near both JR Motomachi Station and the Sannomiya area, making it easy to explore Kobe and take day trips. There are countless restaurants, cafés, shops and convenience stores nearby. Kobe Chinatown, local markets, shopping arcades, and the beautiful harbor waterfront are all within walking distance.
Although the surrounding area can get busy during rush hour, the hotel itself remained peaceful and quiet throughout my stay. It was the perfect combination of convenience and comfort. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.
