We booked a one night stay to have the "Scotland Castle Experience", and our experience was...ok. Beautiful property and stunning grounds. Our room was large, but a little disappointing for the price. There were also dead wasps all over our room. (not to mention a bug in my water glass in the restaurant later that night at dinner) Our dinner was pretty good, but instead of the beautiful, stately experience we were hoping for, the restaurant was in the basement and we were seated right next to the grill. It did not feel at all fancy...like, at, all. The food was very good (my husband highly recommends the haggis), so that helped. Was it worth the $898 CA(including dinner) that we paid? Sadly, no.

What a beautiful place to stay, my Partner and I were visiting Edinburgh for the Military Tattoo and to take in some of the Fringe. Our room was beautiful and the staff very helpful. A little bit of paradise
