All staff were great, both at front desk and in the pub.
I guess the only thing I might update is that the room we booked was listed as having a kitchenette, but there was no cooktop. I suppose a micorwave sorta counts, but I had brought a steak to cook! ;)
Nice balcony overlooking the river. Might get an umbrella out there, or maybe an awning for bit of shade.
Otherwise, room 18 was great.

This is a charming older hotel with very helpful, friendly staff and a lovely overlook over the river. The room we had was great, updated & spotless.
The slight hesitation I have is simply that it is a very old building structurally and had a slightly musty (to me) smell in the lobby/hallway.
In addition, I was surprised to learn, only a couple of days before our arrival, that as an old building with a pub on the main floor, there could well be a fait but of sound travel to the rooms above the pub.
We were given a room far from the pub and heard very little.

Beautiful stay in Room 18 which has at least a 30 foot deck looking over the river. The staff were amazing. The room spotless, and the bed so comfortable with brand new beddings and a dreamy king size bed. We loved sitting on the deck watching people floating down the river on inner tubes. The pub has delicious food, and wonderful staff. I would highly recommend a stay here.
