The whole property oozed character

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in The Bede room which was beautiful, cottage style in decor with the bathroom including whirlpool upstairs. We ate in the restaurant on our first night, food was excellent. There is are also great outdoor spaces. Hollie, the owner was the perfect hostess. This a lovely, pretty little village which also has another pub. This too has a restaurant and we ate there our second night; again the food excellent but very different to the Old White Hart. It is nice to have a choice.
Thoroughly recommend this hotel, we would definitely return if in the area. You have Rutland water, largest man-made reservoir very close by, nice walks and other things to do.
