Was very very nice as was the pool. The restaurant was beautiful. The chef is amazing some of the best food I’ve tasted anywhere in the world.. great service everyone friendly.. check-in was a breeze

Hands down, the best hotel on Gili Meno. Look no further if you plan to stay on this island. Wasn’t necessarily cheap, but it’s well worth the money. Our breakfast was complimentary, which helped justify the spend. The grounds are ideal, everything you’d need from a great pool to a nice beach just steps away. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. The on-site restaurants were also some of the best on the island.

Bask is an incredible undertaking of an international high end hotel build on a tiny island. The design and attention to detail is amazing and the food and drinks on offer are brilliant. The tempura prawns, sushi and lobster ravioli deserve special mention and their smoked negroni is the best I’ve had.
The setting provides a great atmosphere for afternoon cocktails and chatting to other guests at the swim up bar.
For the area it comes at a price, but for international travellers it offers reasonable value.
Service is a tale of two halves. All the staff are friendly and greet you by name, but some of the small details are missed. When we checked in to our cabin with a pool, we were told we could order breakfast etc to our room, but there wasn’t a menu in the room. When I went to reception to ask for a menu, I was passed to 4 different people and it felt a bit unnecessary. We had a private terrace and pool, but no comfy seating or loungers, so couldn’t really use our private space for what we wanted. I asked if we could get some. Again, it involved being passed to 3 people and the duty manager coming to our table during dinner to say “hi, what's the problem”, without greeting us or introducing himself, which seemed odd. They did however accommodate our request, but we woke to find noise from building work next door anyway.
These niggles didn’t dampen a brilliant stay and I only mention them because it was at odds with an otherwise amazing experience.
